When you go into space, your MUSCLES begin to waste away almost immediately. Because there is no 'down force' in ZERO GRAVITY, your leg muscles begin to shrink. This can clearly be seen here. In 1969 no one was sure if bacteria and viruses lived on the Moon. And so, the Apollo astronauts were confined in QUARANTINE. In this photo, Neil Armstrong is being air-lifted sitting on the OUTSIDE of a helicopter so that any space-virus would not contaminate the aircraft and crew. His full-face gas mask prevented any potential contamination and also shielded his eyes from bright daylight. It is fairly obvious that he had been in space for quite a long time... But did Apollo11 manage to successfully land on the Moon in exactly the way NASA describes it? The most likely scenario is that pre-made footage of filmed moon-walk rehearsals were cued on standby if anything went wrong with the mission. This was the middle of the COLD WAR and NIXON could not risk 'losing face' and having three American Astronauts crash-landing and dying on live TV. There is no doubt that some of the NASA lunar footage is a mixture of actual footage and pre-made filmed sequences that were produced on Earth. Many of the most famous Apollo film sequences may therefore be a mixture of 'fact' and 'fiction'.
